Hilliard Bruce Winery

The build for this winery was comprised of several different structural systems chosen for both speed of construction and durability. Tucked into the hillside, the main perimeter wall system is ICF with the exception of the East facing wall which employs a special concentric steel braced frame and steel girt/column system supporting a 30′ tall by 100′ long glass curtain wall overlooking the stunning vineyards. The partial second floor is supported by a pre-cast plank and girder system. Topping it all off are open web wood roof trusses. The choice of the varied structural assemblies allowed this fast track project to go up very quickly, in time for the fall crush, cheers!
