Tom is an Architectural Engineering student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He grew up near the architecturally inspiring city of Chicago, which helped fuel his passion for design. His interest in engineering and structural design also stems from his background in building design-based video games and (many, many) LEGO models. Outside of class, Tom enjoys surfing the local breaks, hiking and backpacking, and playing the piano.
